A RECENT post by Amitabh Bachchan on X, formerly Twitter, has sparked discussions about potential family issues.

On Monday, the Bollywood veteran shared a cryptic message that read, “Chup (quiet)” followed by an angry emoji, leading to widespread speculation.

Fans and social media users quickly began to theorize that the post could be linked to rumours about his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The speculation has been building for some time. Reports have circulated about a possible separation between Abhishek and Aishwarya, with some suggesting that the actress had moved out of the Bachchan household last year.

Despite these claims, Aishwarya attended the premiere of the streaming film “The Archies,” which featured Big B’s grandson Agastya Nanda, showing she was in good spirits with the family.

Adding to the rumors, stories have claimed that Abhishek’s involvement with actress Nimrat Kaur during the shooting of “Dasvi” may have contributed to the marital tensions.

Moreover, Abhishek’s absence from Aaradhya Bachchan’s birthday on November 16 was noted, though a recent video proved he had attended.

Aishwarya’s recent public appearance, where she was seen omitting the ‘Bachchan’ from her name, also drew attention. So far, neither Abhishek, Aishwarya, nor Amitabh Bachchan have commented on the rumours surrounding their relationship.

Aishwarya and Abhishek married in 2007 after a few years of dating and welcomed their daughter in 2011.

In a recent blog post, the senior Bachchan had addressed the broader issue of misinformation. Without directly referencing the rumours, he wrote, “Speculations are speculated untruths without verifications.”

He further criticised the ethical implications of unverified information, stating, “Fill the World with untruth or questioned untruth and your job is over.”

Amitabh also emphasised the importance of maintaining family privacy, remarking that he avoids discussing personal matters publicly to uphold boundaries.
