Vidya Balan who has played the role of Manjulika in the original 2007 film, now returns to play the same character in the third part

The makers of “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” released the teaser on Friday, which features Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and Vidya Balan.
Aaryan reprises his role as Rooh Baba, facing off against the spirit of Manjulika, a character played by Balan in the original 2007 film. Dimri is the new addition to the franchise.
The teaser was showcased on Aaryan’s Instagram, where he wrote, “Kya Laga Kahaani Khatam Ho Gayi !! Rooh Baba vs Manjulika..iss Diwali. Teaser Out Now !! The Epic Horror Adventure begins this Diwali. #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 #YeDiwaliBhoolBhulaiyaaVaali.”
The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, is scheduled to be released this Diwali and will also feature Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz.
The first installment of the franchise starred Akshay Kumar, and the second, released in 2022, introduced Aaryan along with Tabu in a double role.
Both previous films achieved significant box office success.
