THREE Indians were among four undocumented non-citizens who were arrested by the US Border Patrol agents in Upstate New York on Tuesday (12) after they attempted to illegally enter the US by jumping off a moving freight train coming from Canada. The fourth person is a citizen of the Dominican Republic.
One of the three Indians is a woman who received an injury while jumping off the train on the International Railroad Bridge in the city of Buffalo and was abandoned by the other two men. The personnel caught her after a short pursuit. The others were caught too.
Deputies of Erie County Sheriff and officials of the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) first helped the woman with first aid and later sent her to a local medical centre.
