Adult film actress Stormy Daniels on Friday (31) gave a reaction of satisfaction to the criminal indictment of former US president Donald Trump, taunting the latter over his infamous remarks that seemed to confess how he assaulted women sexually.
“This pussy grabbed back,” Daniels, who was paid $130,000 by Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen for maintaining silence about an alleged 2006 sexual encounter with the Republican who became the president in 2017, told The Times, UK.
It was only a month before the 2016 presidential election in which Trump defeated Hillary Clinton that a 2005 recording of the businessman-politician telling “Access Hollywood” host Billy Rush that “when you’re a star”, women let you “do anything” to them, including “grab ’em by the pussy” came to the fore.
More than two dozen women and even a teenage girl accused Trump, who is running for the presidential post in next year’s election, of sexual misconduct.
In the interview, Storms, 44, said Trump was no longer untouchable.
“A person in power is not exempt from the law. And no matter what your job is, or what your bank account says, you’re held accountable for the things you’ve said and done, and justice is served,” she was quoted as saying.
She also called the former president’s indictment a “vindication”.
Calling it “bittersweet”, Storms said the mercurial political leader had done so much worse that he should have been taken down before.
“I am fully aware of the insanity of it being a porn star. But it’s also poetic,” she added.
Trump, who lost the presidency to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, is both the first president to be impeached twice and the first former president to face criminal charges.
